Burlington Bank Card is committed to making www.burlingtonbankcard.com usable by people with disabilities. Our goal is a website aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at Levels A and AA.
Current Work
Work in progress is directed at the following outcomes.
- Compatibility with commonly used screen readers
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- Information conveyed by means other than color alone
- Text alternatives for images and other non-text content
- Captions and accessible controls on video content
- Text and background contrast that meets the Level AA ratios
- Form fields with associated labels and error messages that identify the problem
This list is not exhaustive. Accessibility work on the site is continuous, and pages are reviewed as they are added or revised.
Known Limitations
Portions of the site embed content and tools supplied by third parties, including our payment processing partners. Burlington Bank Card does not control the code those parties deliver and cannot represent that it meets the same criteria. Where an embedded tool presents a barrier, we will work to supply the same information or function through another means.
Burlington Bank Card does not claim that the site currently conforms to WCAG 2.2 at every point. Conformance is assessed against evolving guidance and browser and assistive technology behavior, and defects are corrected as they are identified.
Reporting a Problem
If any part of the site presents a barrier, contact us and we will respond within [three] business days. We will work with you to supply the information or complete the transaction by another method, and we will correct the underlying defect where we are able.
